Shaqwanda
Bardiac's recent post about the absurd biking fashions made me think how far my bike is from real bikes.
Shaqwanda the Ghetto-bike is a good 20+ years old and still bears the little liscencing sticker from Racine 1985. She's a good bike, doesn't have any major problems except for the brakes that don't work. I have to be extra careful to watch out for cars and small children because the only way I can quickly stop is to throw myself off the bike.
She's a sassy maroon and rust, and if she was human, she'd be chain-smoking white trash. Though I'm sure Lucy would think human Shaqwanda would look more like this:
